Once good, now plagued with ads and self-promotion
I used to love this podcast. The 2-3 minute daily talks were a part of my morning ritual, giving you bite-sized stoic wisdom as you enjoy breakfast. However, every episode I dive into now is riddled with Ryan promoting a book, or £25 coin, or something else he wants you to spend money on. I listened to an episode about Momento Mori, and its just clip after clip of him mentioning this stupid coin in a bunch of interviews. It was only a matter of time before he monetised it all. If you can get over the constant upselling, there is still some good here. But it’s nothing you can’t get from reading Meditations yourself.

Like these podcasts, a short and to the point review: These are a great introduction to the principles, and also a great daily dose, 2-4 minutes long, of stoic principles. Often I cue up 3 or 4 back-to-back, and listen to a 15 minutes does of stoic concepts. A great podcast.
