“I'm a huge fun of the podcast, but I am so bothered by the April 11 episode that I feel compelled to write a review. First of all, there is no mention of the fact that every war in which Israel has acquired more land was started defensively. This is a key fact, because it otherwise lends to the assumption that Israel started a war in order to acquire such land. This is hugely problematic. Secondly, there is no mention of the Intifada, which, contrary to Michael's sweeping narrative, is likely the driver of the current anti-two-state-solution thinking among Israelis. Third, there is no mention of the fact that the Palestinian leadership has rejected each Israeli peace offering, regardless of the number and magnitude of concessions made. To be sure, Clinton himself has indicated that he finds Arafat to blame for the failure of Camp David. But, alas, none of these key historical facts were mentioned. This is irresponsible journalism.”Read full review »
