What about yesterday? Abraham Accord??
I appreciate a different perspective & am a newcomer to this podcast. I appreciated the reporting on Breonna Taylor last week and found it interesting and well done. I was very disappointed today though. How can the NYT not even mention the ground breaking signing yesterday of a PEACE agreement between Israel & the Arab nations of Bahrain & the UAE? That should be major news & it is! To not include that, even at the end of the “Daily” report in the wrap up, highlights the political leanings & imbalance of the NYT & it’s reporting. Just a few weeks ago an entire episode highlighted Belarus so it’s clearly open to covering global issues. Yesterday was a major step towards peace in the Middle East and a direct result of consistent outreach by the current American federal administration. It’s such a shame that journalism in America is so polarized. It’s so tragic that when good news happens, there is such an unwillingness to cover it if it has anything to do with the current administration. Even on the flip side when bad things happen, like the horrific assassination attempt on the police officers over the weekend, there is no mention of that. Is it because it doesn’t fit a narrative? It would be so refreshing if there was a truly balanced place to get the news of the day. Sadly it’s not this podcast.

Especially in these crazy times conversation is necessary--and podcasts are uniquely effective in facilitating that. I listen to this in the gym/ in the car/ in the morning. Love the background music.

I was just reading about Trump's pick for Supreme Court Justice and curious about Gorsuch. The first episode answered my questions. I look forward to listening daily.Read full review »
