Love the Sermon on the Mount Series
I have reviewed Darrell Johnson’s book on the Lord’s Prayer (57 Words that Change the World) and his book on the Book of Revelation (Discipleship on the Edge) which were excellent and I have always intended on reviewing his book The Beatitudes. As such, I was delighted to hear about the launch of the podcast of his sermons and even more excited to hear about the review of this topic. Darrell Johnson is a rare bread where you have the combined excellence in exposition coupled with the enthusiasm for Christ and the relationship we are called into. His sermons are alive with not only the well thought out study of the particular passage but the passion for what God is instructing us through the particular word. I would encourage anyone that seeks to deepen their relationship in Christ to be fed by one of the best preachers of our age.

Darrell believes the gospel profoundly, and it comes out in every sermon I’ve heard him preach. He is a gifted exegete and teacher and a seasoned pastor and lecturer. He has both an incredible mind and a living faith. His messages are inspiring.
