Born & raised in Mexico, rooted now in Portland Or. Love the show. Here is my “over/under rate” laced with a “dads being dads” and a push for the snack World Cup vote: I felt so proud when my three yr old boy started loving tamales (Traders Joe’s tamales in the microwave aré underrated). My mom used to sell tamales in Mexico to help pay for school and clothes for my sister and I and I was telling my son that story while he was eating one the other day, he couldn’t care less! LOL. In Mexico we have a special word for snack “botana” which encompasses all those snacks that often accompanied with cold beverages turn into a meal. Let’s go!

Great podcast. Funny, smart, entertaining. Talks about stuff you really can’t consistently find anywhere else. As a bonus, you get to hear the word “hodgepodge” more in one episode than you have in your entire life (jk, this pod is good is really good stuff).
