Absolutely disgusting and obnoxious
I’ve listened to this podcast for about 2 years. In the beginning I was on board with what he was trying to teach. I had already used the “snowball” payoff method before I even knew about Dave Ramsey. What he teaches people is nothing new or ground breaking. The episode I listened to today did me in and I can’t listen any longer. He is absolutely disgusting and no way a evangelical Christian like he claims to be. He cusses, criticizes, demeans people, and overall has no sense of what people go through on a daily basis. I got tired of hearing how he’s been there, or has a cousin that’s done that, or has know someone that’s done it, or he’s had to do it, or whatever. We all get it...you’re a multi-millionaire now. That doesn’t give you the right to treat your callers like dirt. His listeners are what’s made him a multi-millionaire. He needs to start acting like an adult instead of a child. I will never listen to his podcast again.

I appreciate Dave's compassion for his destitute callers and his sound plan, but I was able to gather all of his insights after the first three podcasts. Once you've mastered the basics (build emergency fund, pay off debts small to large, invest, drop car leases) there's not much else...Read full review »
