“I’ve listened to a ton of audio dramas and the Deca tapes has really surprised me with its strong story telling and cast. For context since me of my favorite audio dramas are Old Gods of Appalachia, The White Vault, and The Magnus Archives, all of which I consider to have top writing and production values. I would put Deca on that tier. Also, bonus points for telling a complete story, stand alone with a definite ending in one season. A lot of dramas seem to show up and tease various mysteries, but leave most storylines unresolved while the podcast itself never returns.
While there could definitely be more stories in this universe, this one season stands on its own and reminds me of reading a good short story or novella. Hope people give it a try so this team can make a season two.”
