“I really wanted to like this podcast as someone who grew up on Voyager, continues to love it, and likes both of the hosts. But the fact remains that this has rapidly degenerated into glorified episode recaps by two well-meaning actors who don’t really get Star Trek. I know Garret is a pillar of the fan community, but neither he nor Robbie seems interested in engaging some of the deeper “Trek” themes that drive much of the love for these shows. When a host gives “Living Witness” - widely recognized as easily being among Voyager’s best episodes and a premier exemplar of “classic Trek” - a 7/10, something has gone terribly wrong.”
