Takes a lot of liberties
A lot of this podcast is hazy about facts and just builds its argument upon a series of assumptions. It was still fine to listen to until it got to the weird and baseless claims about “Native American” culture. There are thousands of indigenous nations in North America. Weird that the podcast spent ages discussing political intrigue in colonial America, then started claiming that “medicine men, or shaman, were the most respected among the Native Americans,” then talking about Navajo legends (despite being about New Jersey). If you only know about European Americans, then stick to that. Talk about Catholicism. Don’t go wading into stuff you haven’t even researched and clearly do not respect.

This is a quality show, don’t listen to the negative reviews they’re all from religious folks

This has to be one if the worst produced podcasts yet. Not nearly up to snuff with the better true crime podcasts this seems to be more a bad monotonic narration similar to reading an audio book. The story itself plays to the idiotic fake satanic paranoia popular in the 80’s.
