I think the host did the best he could with what he had.
He was working with this info: a seemingly normal adolescent boy who wasn’t any trouble, did well in school, loved wrestling, had friends, never showed signs of ANY mental or behavioral issues wrote a paper on satan & for the brief period from the writing of that paper to the absolutely horrific murder/suicide he did seem a little more distant, was a little more secretive & they found a bunch of satanic literature & the symbolism by his mother, period.
Tommy wasnt delving in to a pagan religion or Wicca & slandered as satanism by evil cops or Christians -so the ‘woke’ can slow down with the victim reviews 🙄🤦🏼♀️
Then, not that the father could explain anything, he packed up & moved with his other son & was re married in less than a year & not speaking on it EVER. To add to the tragedy, apparently the brother (feel awful I forget his name) took his own life in his early 20’s. I have no idea how this info is out there because nothing else is said about it. No actual time, place, life circumstances since the horror he lived thru (other than he was moved away almost immediately & had a step mother soon after).
•The hosts info & interviews with the neighbors who were essentially ‘helping’ the police & Fire Departments & them saying there was satanic literature etc. at the scene, & the Dad neighbor finding Tommy in his yard was a massive glimpse in to this tragedy that has nothing else really known about it.
•I think the history element about woods & castle was necessary if Tommy DID go there being a curious kid with the new found ‘interest’ & on the flip side, Im personally not a fan of the ‘storytelling’ where he’s imagining Tommy becoming a beast but he had to do SOMETHING!
•I’d love it if he was able to talk to Tommys closest friends about those weeks, respectfully to the father, the investigators but even if he did, I still think we’d have a completely unexplainable, horrific, senseless murder & suicide.”
