“I had never heard of this story, and I lived in nearby Leeds for 20yrs+. I have visited Osset, and you wouldn’t imagine something like this could've happened there.
I like the narrators perspective on the case, from the lense of the modern era. It is well told, gives a lot of insight and context.
It was also the era and area that saw the grim and violent murders of women by the Yorkshire Ripper. What an unrecognisably violent and horrific place for women in the 70’s (+80’s).”Read full review »
