When you are at a crossroad.
I have been following Dr. Heather Fork - Doctor’s Crossing blog and subscribed to her weekly emailing list for over four years. Now that she has started her podcast, I have found them accessible and easy to stay informed. I listen to them on my commutes and even while exercising. If you are in a transition phase in your career or as Dr. Fork says at a crossroad you will find listening and hearing the stories of our fellow colleagues insightful. When they are describing their experiences and expressing their sentiments you understand that you are not alone. And that many have shared maybe a similar event or sentiment and it has been helpful to hear the voices of others sharing candidly their story. Also, I found the podcast to be very helpful and informative for example the physician recruiter podcast was really informative on what things to troubleshoot to increase our chances for success with a job application and interview. I do highly recommend the Carpe Diem podcast for any other fellow colleagues. If you just want some information or hear other fellow healthcare professionals describe their experiences or their story give Dr. Heather Fork’s Doctor’s Crossing - the Carpe Diem Podcast a chance.

I can relate to the topics Heather addresses. And I like the way she provides real examples of exercises she uses with coaching clients.
