“I would drop everything on Saturday nights at about the 19:59 mark of period one of whichever early game I was watching to turn into a game I knew was going to show Coaches Corner during the 1st INT. I needed my fix of the wisdom & honesty of the legendary Don Cherry. If we had more men like “Grapes” running the show in the NHL offices, we’d be near the end of the Stanley Cup playoffs as usual, instead of looking for our next Purell bath, figuring out how to start a modified, disjointed playoff system. That said, I feel blessed to still be able to hear him on a weekly basis right here. God Bless!”
