“Congrats to The Don for jumping on the podcast wagon since the wheels came off the Coaches Corner. Needless to say, great job entertaining the audience on the first pod. Cool that Tim Cherry is with you, seeing as Ron MacLean biffed you hard under the bus, and after the fact, for the pay-cheque and his HockeyTown jacket. Can’t blame him though, be hard explaining to the family that he punted the J-O-B. Still think you messed up hard on hammering through a “You People” in today’s day and age, followed by an opportunity by Sportsnet to walk it back, followed by a ‘hard no’ on the walk, followed by regret over handlings, followed by a further double-down and widening to ‘all Canadians should wear a poppy’. I do wear a poppy, by the way, and I waited until November 12th to put the wreath up, in fear of The Wrath of Grapes. Regardless, your brand is large enough that I knew you would return and impressed on your choice of ship to sail back.
