Been listening for about 5 years and I’ve been happy with the content of the show.
But recently Doug is getting far too political. I enjoy listening to different takes regarding various sport topics, but the last thing I want to hear about is politics.
Doug comes off as a “know it all” in general, which is fine because he knows his stuff when it comes to sports! But the second he started to get political I lost interest immediately because he comes off as extremely arrogant, especially when talking about politics. The worst thing for sports commentary is to start in on politics. If I wanted to listen to the recent takes on politics, I’d tune in to CNN (where Doug would nicely fit) but that would be a waste of brain cells. Sorry Doug, but you just lost a long time fan.”

“Fun listen. Not overly hyperbolic. Takes a middle of the road approach most of the times.
But please please please fix tech the problem where every commercial break is WAY LOUDER than the show. Blows out my ear drums pretty much every time. It’s been going on a long time, since pre-pandemic”
