“I was really disappointed in the episode with the “drugless doctor”. The conversation pushed organic food so hard but did not discuss the fact that organic food is not necessarily safer than normal produce. Organic just means that the farms have to use natural herbicides and pesticides, it doesn’t mean that there are no chemicals put on the food. Furthermore, the amount of these natural herbicides and pesticides are actually not regulated while the synthetic herbicides and pesticide level ARE regulated. Also, they do not discuss the fact that organic food is far more expensive and not accessible to everyone. In regards to soy, they do not discuss in several studies that have suggested that Sawyer actually does not damage health. Overall the conversation was just so one-sided that I was disappointed in the lack of alternative fact-based perspectives and views.”
