Dr. Gundry, somehow each week you precisely pinpoint what I need to know for living a more healthy life. It shows you care and are attuned to your listener’s health needs. I have a question about vitamin d and fasting. Since vitamin d is fat soluble, does regular fasting, 15-16 hours nightly for example, help the body to better utilize the vitamin d? Is fasting actually part of what is needed for being able to access vitamin d and stay well?

I’m really excited to start this journey. I’ve had a list of medical issues such as kidney failure, thyroid cancer, fibromyalgia... etc, etc. Can’t wait to see the effects this will have on all my health issues.
