Wrecked by politics
There are some great stories and Norm’s humour is brilliant. But he does meander off into politics a bit too often, and it’s the same old narrative we all know and don’t necessarily love... all based on the notion that all and only white person are racist etc. I got really irritated when he made a blanket assertion about white kids needing to stop being racist towards black ones. It was at a time of yet another incident of violent and deadly ethnic violence in Africa. Violence which didn’t even make it on to the news.
