MLM
I’ll start by saying that I cannot stand MLM companies. I appreciated the empathetic approach this podcast took to the people who are involved in MLMs. I did not, however, enjoy the inability of the producers to keep their cool in the face of MLM advocates. The producers came off as unprofessional, especially in episode 11, while cutting off their interviewee and continuously trying to win a debate while continuing to claim journalistic integrity. Did they not expect this person to defend his view point even if he is a corporate hack? It doesn’t work that way. The fact is this, I don’t trust this team to be able to give me an unbiased factual representation of issues, due to their extreme emotionality and eagerness to find a certain outcome. I appreciate their ability to tell the story they told, and I hope their lack of integrity doesn’t take away from the story of harm that MLM’s play in people’s lives. There is a very important story to be told here.

Best anti-MLM podcast. It really brings a level of humanity to the victims of the schemes. It helps to show that it’s the companies not the people that are at fault.
