In tonight’s show we will be going over some overhyped & underappreciated items and areas of preparedness, and what to avoid spending your prepping budget on. Because there is such a large need for supplies, food, and gear in general with preparedness we are a target for marketers.  We’ll also be talking about the newest second amendment case the supreme court is going to hear about conceal carry, as well as the history of second amendment rulings from the supreme court. Overhyped & Underappreciated Prepping Topics As we dig through the internet researching different topics in the preparedness community, some are covered much more than others. This is because as preppers we love to read and talk about bugging out, we probably know 20 ways to start a fire, and the new trinkets and gadgets fascinate us. This however shouldn’t be a barometer for how important a preparedness topic is in a real-life scenario. For most of us bugging out is a last resort option, yet you can find 100 articles on the internet about how bugging out will save your life. Overhyped & Underappreciated Prepping Topics 5 Things you Shouldn’t Waste Your Prepping Money on While a large part of prepping doesn’t require spending money, you can’t escape the fact that becoming prepared takes a mental investment as well as monetary investment. Done correctly, you can minimize the amount you spend on prepping by focusing on what’s important. The 80/20 rule: 20% of what you do or buy gives you 80% of the needed results. This basically means that we can get better results by focusing on the 20% than wasting all our time on the 80%. With all the different aspects of prepping It’s extremely easy to get sidetracked.
