“The first 7 chapters have been wonderful to listen to as I have driven my family from Phoenix, up through Utah, and into Colorado and back this week. Everyone loves to read during our car trips, which leads to a completely silent car, not so great when you’re the driver. I’ve been enjoying the audio experience, replaying parts for whoever is sitting next to me, and retelling stories to whoever will listen. My oldest daughter is in her 4th year of French and has enjoyed any bits of slang and pronunciation lessons that have slipped in to the memoirs along the way. I did run out of audio experience episodes and couldn’t wait, so we happily purchased the book and audio experience and are new patreon subscribers as well.
The podcast episodes, in the non-audio experience format, have us remembering our visit as a family 2 years ago and adding stops to our trip goals when we visit next. We love listening to the podcast because Oliver sounds like he must have a permanent smile on his face as he records, even more so when Lina is on with him. The first place I point anyone who is interested in visiting Paris, or learning more about it, is this podcast. Best thing short of being there!”
