As a restaurant owner, it’s tiresome listening to large restaurant group mouthpieces put down smaller restaurants in smaller or rural locales by basically saying we’re doing it all wrong because our margins are so slim. We don’t have investors. It’s our own blood, sweat and tears as well as our own money. The competition is fierce for a limited number of consumers. It’s insulting to hear Alinea say I’m “doing it all wrong”.
