Mumbling Brits
Having subscribed to several Bloomberg podcasts, I looked forward eagerly to the Economist's take on things. Unfortunately, the weird intonation of many of the speakers, who go from mumbling quietly, causing you to turn up the volume, only to be blasted by when they suddenly remember to speak into the microphone, makes this podcast almost useless. If it was video, i suppose they could run subtitles. Or you could just read the newspaper. In any case, what they have to say rarely strays from conventional wisdom, delivered with the unflinching certitude of someone who has gone to all the right schools. すべてが英語というのが難点ですが非常に中身の濃い、ある意味短い論文の様なコンテンツに感服しました。さすがは英国ジャーナリズムのペースセッターです。 コンテンツも短いながらもポイントを押さえていて簡潔で明快です。1冊1000円以上もする雑誌のコンテンツが無料で聞けるのは本当にリーズナブルですが、欲を 言えば日本語訳も欲しいところです。
