“I have been listening to The Economist Podcast since my English got good enough to understand at least 40% of the content about 8 years ago. I have not miss single episode ever since.
It has been the most important source of analytical views on world event for me. It also to some extent shaped my understanding in many aspects of the world and how it works.
I enjoyed most of the shows. The regular presenters are more or less rock stars to me. I hope some day I get to visit the Economist office in London and see some of you real life.
If there’s one regret that I have for the show, it would be the day Zanny Minton Beddoes was promoted to the Editor-in-chief. I enjoyed her voice and analysis so much. It was a let down that her voice barely ever appeared on the show since. It is not to discount any of other presenters great effort and quality. It is merely a personal preference.
Please continue your amazing work.
Regards,
Frank”
