    Bonus: The Supernatural Sphere

As we adjust to recording remotely, Kelsey and Sydney got tipsy on Thanksgiving and recorded this absolute abomination, in which Kelsey has a lot of questions about the 2005-2020 show Supernatural and Sydney attempts to answer them. All of our episodes are exclusively for Taylor, but this one is perhaps......the most exclusively for Taylor. Listen at your own peril.

We're still planning on discussing Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier next week, so stay tuned and read the book!

Transcript and website coming soon. You can email us at englishcornerpod@gmail.com or find us on Twitter @EngCornerPod. Our music is 'I dunno' by Grapes.

As we discuss at the end of this episode, our next series is going to be the 1938 book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and its various adaptations.

CW: mentions of suicide and sexual assault

Note: while talking about the 2020 Broadway revival, we were unaware that they did in fact cast multiple Afro-Latinx actors, including Shereen Pimentel as Maria, so some of our comments in that section are incorrect.

Romeo and Juliet: Part 1 - The Play

Romeo and Juliet: Part 1 - The Play

Welcome to The English Corner! In our first episode of our first series, we discuss why we're doing this, who we're doing this for (one person exclusively), and the play 'Romeo and Juliet' by William Shakespeare. A transcript of this episode will be available on our website once that website is up and running.

Note: We mention in this episode that our next one will be about the 1968 film 'Romeo and Juliet,' but it will actually be about the 1961 film 'West Side Story' and the following episode will be about the 1968 film. Wild how we're already so good at this!!!!

CW: this episode includes mention of suicide

An enemy who’s a fan

An entertaining show to listen to. The “fun facts” are informative, and the chemistry between the three hosts makes the comedy natural. And while I am technically an enemy in the eyes of the show hosts, I can’t stop tuning in.

Hilarious and Engaging

Informative and entertaining, The English Corner crew are a BLAST to listen to. Can’t wait to find out what other films they’re going to discuss.
