Insight
I really enjoy The Episodes .They help me to understand not only what it’s like to cope with depression and mania from the viewpoint of the person with Bi-Polar but also the rippling effects they have on those close to that person. These very honest and transparent conversations which touch on some very difficult emotions on an often deep level are at times strangely humorous and light-hearted. Matt and his guests openly share stories of their experiences and shed some light on what they have learned from things they could have handled better for lack of understanding. We have a lot to learn about mental illness and this podcast offers some insight, support and hope. It feels like we’re part of a personal conversation between friends, around Matt’s dini
ng room table. But we are all part of it in a way. We learn stuff and we laugh at some funny stories that happened amidst some of the hardest parts of life…together.
love this podcast!
thank you, matt, for your vulnerability and openness when discussing such hard, fragile topics. a podcast in this format is so needed in the mental health space to bring awareness, to normalize behaviors that would otherwise be stigmatized and disregarded and to help others not feel so alone. such interesting, thought provoking convos. love this pod!
important podcast, really good conversations
