I've never enjoyed a podcast more.
It's difficult to adequately describe the charm of this podcast to the uninitiated. It is my favorite actual-play podcast, however, hands down. There are many actual-plays these days leaning heavily on heavy post-production soundeffects, transparently scripted lines, and other tinsel, but nothing matches the unique, alchemical combination of personalities here, the intelligence and humor, the brilliant, natural repartee, the engaging and exciting but refreshingly non-frenetic tone, the richly immersive and evocative GM'ing, the intriguing and often frankly poignant emotional territory that all unhesitatingly explore from time to time, the unique and off-beat games that are experimented with and demo'd. The list of virtues goes on. And this in addition to a warm, welcoming, lively, and informative Discord community I now can't imagine living without. It sounds corny, but these beautiful loons and their podcast have greatly enriched my life. Check them out. Maybe start with episodes covering a game you're interested in, and then branch from there. I've been amazed at the wonderful game discoveries I've made there (and that my gaming group now enjoy) that I otherwise never would have given a second glance. Check them out. Support them on Patreon. They're good people, and they produce sanity-saving, joy-inducing work.Read full review »

So far I've only listened to the Golden Dawn Campaign, but it is really good! Good characterisation and interesting campaigns, there is a bit of background noise that needs filtering, but looking forward to seeing more!

Wow, guys, I admit to being very impressed. The group’s dynamics are simply excellent, both in and out of character. I’ve gotta say, I’m looking forwards to seeing how everyone ends up - the characters have grasped my attention in a way that I cannot properly describe, I guess. I must admit to...Read full review »
