In today’s coaching call, Julianne helps Natty find her identity outside of being a wife and mother and address some traumatic events that have kept her stuck and affected her relationship with her husband. Natty wants to accept things as they are and become more emotionally, physically, and spiritually healthy.
Natty doesn’t have consistency in her mindset and motivation, and this is one of her biggest blocks. Julianne helps her identify that this inconsistency comes from self-regulation, and that regulating self will be one of Natty’s biggest tools. She feels like she’s constantly in fight or flight mode because that’s where she feels comfortable. Julianne invites her into celebration and acceptance of how dedicated her body is to protecting her.
Julianne celebrates and holds space for Natty. She's able to feel and process her anger, and learn to create a safe space for herself. Julianne suggests that in this case it might be necessary to have a conversation with the people who have hurt Natty, as they're people she loves and she deserevs to take up space and be heard.
