“I listened to this podcast episode a few days ago and I cannot stop thinking about it. I have to say, this is the most dangerous, irresponsible, and upsetting episode I have ever heard come out of WNYC.
You’ve given this man a platform to speak about drugs as though, “he gets it” and we’re all squares. The most dangerous idea he’s promoting; is that if an otherwise healthy human being gets addicted to an addictive substance, then there’s something wrong with them.
I could go into a very deep diatribe as to why this man is completely false in his believes, and why it is dangerous to give him such a dignified platform to talk about his crazy ideas.
Shame on you!!
For your next episode it might be a good idea to have on the executives of Purdue Pharma. Let’s hear their side on what has caused the opioid epidemic in this country.”
