Several good topics, ruined often
A lot of these topics are great, honest, and thought-provoking. The investigative journalism is often shallow and one-sided, however. There is often bad fact-checking or they lump everyone into one category rather than explore the nuance (the National Parks episode, for example). I really like The Atlantic and I expected better, richer journalism from them. This tends to spiral into clichés that you see from Twitter, not what I would expect to see from The Atlantic or WNYC.

I wanted to like this one; I love the basic premise. I gave it 3 episodes. 1st is interesting, but 2 & 3 are just poor journalism. What is the topic of this podcast? I thought it was US democracy until episode 3. Fashion can be interesting, but what happened to your theme? Will this now be a totally random story from a different Atlantic writer each week?
