“The concept of the show - to explore the American “experiment” - is so compelling, and Julia Longoria is among the top, most talented podcast authors/hosts I’ve listened to. Some episodes absolutely expanded my horizons and educated me, were amazingly well done. A few shows have not been great; whenever an episode is more about the host than the subject, it just loses punch for me completely. I thought I understood the focus of the series when I started with the excellent first episodes but then it became less certain - some seemed very distant from an exploration of the American Experiment. And perhaps some guest hosts/interviewers should have been coached; delivery should not distract from important content. But Julia Longoria was consistently excellent abd amazing, so I really hope this isn’t the last podcast she’ll do!!!”
