Repetitive and Useless Information
This podcast is all about blaming law enforcement and drudging up what wasn't done early on in the case. How they cast judgement on this family and dismissed any evidence. While this is all true, and is a travesty, why keep pounding it in EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE?Take what evidence is available and go forward. The truth is, it wasn't only law enforcement who let these girls down. They were let down by every adult involved. Nobody saw to it that they had enough money to get to and from school. Why were they faced with walking SIX MILES to get money for the bus in a very bad part of town? With nightfall coming? Why did their godfather not bring it to them? Or, once there, arrange for them transportation home? Why did the friend's mother worry about HER daughter walking with them, but choose to let them walk? Why did the older sister not keep them at her house if they were afraid as she said? That being said, you can't unring the bell. Placing blame for things that took place years ago is pointless. Who stood to gain from their disappearance? Who had confirmed alibis? And, of those people, are there now ex wives, etc. that may be willing to talk?Since law enforcement wasn't interested, it's possible that discovered bodies in nearby counties weren't connected to them. Do any of the suspects have a history (before or after) of similar offenses? Is it possible to get the twins' cases on playing cards sold to local prisons? All of this is more pertinent than repetitive blaming and victimizing the family. This is supposed to be a true crime podcast LOOKING FOR ANSWERS, not a forum to encourage listeners to harass the local sheriff's department about what they should have done, but didn't, decades ago. If you garner enough helpful information about what may have happened, law enforcement will take an interest. Discussing water and the layout of the land is also irrelevant. Nobody cares. I hope this case is solved for the sake of Dannette and Jeannette. They are the true victims here.Read full review »

tunnel. The investigators had nothing to go on and developed the case from the ground up. Like the narrative storytelling style and approach.
