“As a life-long (or most of it anyway--call it '78-ish, NINETEEN '78-ish, whippersnapper) libertarian/minarchist (look it up), I've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting... For someone--anyone--to create a topical, incisive, and frequently funny vehicle that wasn't hamstrung by a relationship with Fox (no criticism implied of The Independents or Kennedy, or even FBN, but it severely limits acceptance. Liberal wife: "You're watching Fox????"). So... There's that. I enjoy what's been out there, say "Free Thoughts," but it's wonky. No one but a hard-core classical liberal is going to listen more than once. TFC could get some traction. And most importantly, it does for me what Penn's Sunday School does--makes me laugh, makes me think, occasionally teaches me a thing or two, and by the end, I feel a good deal less crazy.
