Untapped potential
This show does not quite live up to its "well informed and nuanced commentary" tagline. And it is most certainly not seditious. The show is not that different from most other political talk show podcasts. Instead of doing a broader "connect the dots" perspective on issues of the day, they do the same old commentary. For example, in talking about the alt right, how does this compare with Black Lives Matters and SJWs and their race and identity politics? At times it is so vapid that it feels like a political version of The View. Especially when Michael Moynihan has one of his many egotistical, obnoxious and flatulent outbursts. Thankfully the election is over so one no longer has to suffer through Matt Welch blathering on about the mediocre and irrelevant Gary Johnson. The only person who says anything remotely thought provoking is Kmele Foster. But even he is too self restrained. If I am not mistaken, he is a bit of a Rothbardian libertarian. Unleash it Kmele! It would serve as a nice contrast to the liberal and left libertarian leanings of Moynihan and Welch. Also they need Michael Malice in more. The other big issue is that they talk over each other way too much. It leads to a lot of half finished thoughts. Too many egos in the room? And please stop talking over your guests. I will continue to listen periodically as it has the attraction of a train wreck. Also, I still enjoy some of Kmele Foster's commentary.Read full review »

These guys are great! I love how they poke holes are both sides of the political spectrum and have legit reasons to do so. Their chemistry is fun and what they have to say is thought provoking. If you're tired of listening to podcasts that only stick to one side of the political field, this...Read full review »
