Simply exceptional content. Chelsea is refreshing and facilitates fascinating conversations with diverse guests. Hope you make an appearance in Toronto soon!

No complaints about the show. Unless I’m missing some episodes the show always seems like a cautionary tale for creatives who make the choice and take the risks to do creative work for a living. Like somehow that’s bad that we’re not financial wizards. Being being financially savvy can be...Read full review »

First of all, I love the show. But second of all, either Vivan Tu is plagiarizing Ramit Sethi or maybe it’s the other way around. Either way they are using identical talking points about not being Scrooge and “living your rich life”. The interview overall was a little cringe, but that part...Read full review »

The too good to be true show is so bad. It’s just two people hating on things that some other people like. Are Magic the Gathering cards a good investment? Are rods and reels? Golf clubs? Pyrex? Maybe to a few, but it’s really about a hobby or just things we like. I listened to the most recent...Read full review »

I really appreciate this approach to financial discussions as someone who never felt “good” at money nor had an easy time learning about finance 101 this has really felt like a podcast for me. I’ve learned so much without feeling talked down to or at. Also so excited for Chelsea’s book so...Read full review »

Such an amazing interview with Erin Lowry! Her honesty and willingness to share her own financial missteps made the conversation so relatable and informative. I appreciate the practical advice and strategies she offered for avoiding common financial pitfalls. More power to this show and looking...Read full review »

I like too good to be true but find it hard to find it within all the financial confession episodes. I like those too but watch them on YouTube.

I love TFD (am a Society member), I appreciate the Too Good to be True podcasts, but the audio quality keeps me from listening to this feed as much as I would like to. It’s not just an episode to episode difference- there will be multiple times within the same episode (especially in TGTBT...Read full review »

I mostly love TFC podcast. The guests are interesting and Chelsea is a great host. That being said, I find it hypocritical that they would do an episode on the fitness world’s scams while they have been promoting Athletic Greens for some time, which is definitely one of those scams…

I really really love both The Financial Confessions and Too Good to Be True but why are they both under the same name under this podcast? Shouldn’t the second one have it’s own podcast? Plus, the episodes aren’t marked as which is which, so it’s really confusing. When TGTBT was about to come out,...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to your podcast for a few years now, and I’ve been noticing that you’ve been saying more and more, or at least acknowledging, that some of the people you talk about are in Hetero relationships. Such a small thing goes a long way and I felt seen and heard. That we need to...Read full review »

Too Good To Be True just isn’t as savvy as the old show in which Chelsea hosted and interviewed professionals. The most recent episode features someone who graduated with $15,000 in student loan debt for their art degree (which is really quite low), took an unpaid internship post-grad, and...Read full review »

Chelsea, I love the show and general content. Even most of Julia’s content. But she just rubs me the wrong way. I have been greatly enjoying the “Too Good To Be True” series. Though I also love the regular Financial Confessions, I think that in future, if more episodes with Ryan and Julia are planned, having these as their own TFD-affiliated standalone would be awesome!

Hi! Listener of several years-the levels have been a bit all over the place recently. Super quiet, so I turn the volume up, then I get blasted away! Can this be fixed?

I’m enjoying the new format. It’s refreshing to hear new voices. My only complaint is similar to the one that has been expressed about Chelsea. It’s difficult to enjoy a podcast when one host continuously speaks over the other one. If they can smooth out this issue, I’ll continue to listen.

I’m really enjoying listening to Ryan and Julia’s series. Julia’s pbs show is great and it’s cool to hear more from her. Ryan seems lovely and they have a really nice chemistry. It was a bit confusing to find after listening to it on YouTube, maybe it should be listed as it’s own thing?

Hi. Im so confused why chelsea hasn’t been on the podcast lately? Please come back. I don’t get the reviews that say she talks to much or is opinionated. I want to hear her opinion. I’ve been a follower of TFD since the beginning and I look forward to seeing (or hearing) from Chelsea every week. I’ve read reviews criticizing Chelsea for not letting her guests talk as much, but I listen to the show specifically for her take. Chelsea constantly interrupts and talks over her expert guests. Some how the conversation always comes back to her and it comes off as very arrogant and know-it-all, though she calls her guest the “expert”.

Host is talking over the guests and not really asking thoughtful questions. it’s hard to listen to. Host needs to study some interview shows and work on her interviewing technique.
