“When the Second Captains boys left, they took with them the defining features of the show which made it so special. The only thing the current iteration has going for it is the subject matter. In its present form it lacks humour and the efforts to instil some comedic relief often rely on trite "lad banter". It is also self congratulatory, to the point where Ger will often quote his own points.
