Tennis is difficult with Freddie Nielsen and guest host Coach Dave O’Hare
The title says it all, Tennis is difficult. Guest host Dave O'Hare kicks off his first-ever episodes as a host with Freddie Nielsen. Freddie is a former pro from Denamk, a Wimbledon doubles champ and the current Danish Davis Cup Captain.
It’s a great discussion with thoughts on compassion, anger, perfection, acceptance, competing, disagreeing and more.
It's a bit different to my usual conversations but its great to see 2 experienced tennis people chatting with plenty of lessons to learn.
I hope you enjoy it

Customer Reviews
Episode 210 was Awesome
Episode 210 with Andy Murray’s strength coach was a great episode. That is part of an overall wonderful podcast.
I would love to hear an episode about how CrossFit aligns with Tennis for the 3.5–4.0 level club player. Just a suggestion from an avid.
Good Host, with Great Guests
I discovered the podcast only after buying some Tennis Match Journals from Fabio. I was looking for something for my daughter who plays tennis and gets really emotional on court. I thought perhaps writing things down might help her. And thanks to the internet found Fabio’s journals. But then I stated getting weekly emails about the podcasts. Now I listen every week. You have to kind of be a tennis geek to get into some of them, but it’s usually good stuff! Keep up the good work!
a great tennis podcast
Fabio does a great job doing the deep dive with all his guests. As an older player who started competing later in life, I’ve been playing a lot of catch up in terms of learning the nuances of tennis and increasing my tennis IQ, especially when I’m playing juniors who already have a lot more coaching than I have had. Fabio serves as a sort of surrogate coach for me! Love his energy and his passion for tennis is palpable.
