I used listen to The Garcia Diaries religiously. The podcast was very refreshing in the start but has rebranded several times without much explanation, which has become Bethanie’s MO. Most topics either get swept under the rug or completely lied about. First the separation, then about using Ozempic to drop weight for her boob job, now wiping accounts clean and not mentioning the puppy their negligence killed. Where’s Yogi, by the way? How do you talk about being over the curated posts and wanting to live in real time (your words) and then continue to betray your supporters? I love you on Ryan Bailey but when it comes to your life, I never know what to believe. Now I understand how you’re friends with Monica Garcia/Fowler/Darnel.
Love you guys BUT…
This weeks episode with Lindsay Corrun was not it. I’m all for hot takes, but Lindsay was insufferable. She was so defensive and aggressive with her non factual stance on the Pro-cannabis agenda. Y’all, she literally said to do your marijuana research on FACEBOOK. What!???
It was a LOT. She hardly let Anthony speak or get a word in while trying to respectfully add his thoughts, and when he did she was so dismissive of his opinion that he hopes his kids don’t use substances when they get older. Seriously? Just because you’re happy to give your kids a joint doesn’t mean the rest of us that aren’t comfortable doing that are in the wrong. Do you, but not everyone wants or needs cannabis products to be happy and healthy. She said herself her son is “difficult”, doesn’t attribute one ounce of that to her decades of drug use including when she was pregnant? She gives off such judgy vegan vibes. Like everyone and their mom is in the wrong for not subscribing to her particular walk of life.
This episode could’ve been great if Beth and Anthony just stuck to their personal experiences with cannabis or got an actual qualified professional with a degree to speak on the science. The guest just came off as a quack trying to sell her cbd gummies or whatever.
