Good with the bad
I have been listening to this podcast for a long time! I think the girls are coming from a really good place wanting to support other people’s dilemmas, but it is very apparent that the girls are not always thinking about the people on the end of the emails who write in... They discuss how they are both recently single which they are both very happy about which is brilliant, not all separations end that way and can take years of healing to get over so it’s wonderful they are doing okay. I do however think it’s a shame how much the girls put down being in a relationship and the thought of getting married when they have so many impressionable young people listening who may take what they say as the ‘right answer’. Some people are in happy healthy relationships, some people are single but the advise the girls usually have is single tracked - ‘be single’! As I say, the girls are very honest and seem to love being in a position to support others which I bloody brilliant, just wish they would broaden their focus off of how single is the only way, and consider how everyone wants different things at different ages! This could just be coming from someone who may be getting a bit too old to be listening to this podcast at 28 and married so take what I say with a pinch of salt!
