“I was absolutely over the moon when I found The GladPod and equally mortified to find I was two years late to the party. However, I have binged listened to every episode so I’m now up to date.
The podcast show instantly took me back to Saturday nights in front of the tv jumping up and down to the action. Gladiators was a massive part of my childhood, I was obsessed. I collected all the annuals, the board games etc and was lucky enough to see the action live. Me and my siblings would recreate Duel using my mums pillows and introduce the event like Ulrika and Fash… I always had to be the big bad wolf man and my sisters Jet and Lightning. I loved all the events but especially Guantlet, Powerball, The Wall and Danger Zone were my favourites
I’m so happy how the podcast gives you a different look-back at the show from contenders, gladiators, people behind the scenes viewpoints as well as what people are up to today. I’d love to hear Wolf, lightning and champion Jane Smith on the podcast.
