Very good but not without flaws
Ignore the uncritical 5-star reviews, this show is not perfect. It is sometimes let down by the technical quality of the audio, but there are many superb episodes and Susan is a very good interviewer of the give-em-enough-rope school. On occasion, there are episodes where it is unintentionally comic such as the recent retrospective on the first seven months of Trump’s reign where esteemed contributors tried to force his (in)actions into an intelligent foreign affairs framework. Doomed to fail, since he plainly driven only by his ego and whatever someone told him last. It was very funny hearing all those pundits struggle to rationalize the irrational. In contrast, the recent North Korean episode was clear-headed and informative. Truly excellent.

Susan Glasser does an excellent job interviewing her guests. Her guests and conversations are insightful. I am always gaining a greater perspective on global politics.

Thoughtful, smart, insightful, real facts presented in a logical and interesting format. This is my first podcast review, but feel this podcast series should not be missed.
