Disappointed.
So many fake 5 star reviews for such a successful podcaster. Let’s keep the truth relevant. *Update: I guess Jenna never truly educated herself and instead continues to hurt people with her complete lack of empathy. Please don’t forget that she was also a major victim blamer during the Me Too movement. Good luck to you Jenna, maybe one day you’ll pick the correct side to rally for. Jenna used to put out good content and really built an audience on her relatable story and personality. She made you feel like you were her friend who she was giving top secret advice to. She has a wonderful way of making you trust her. Unfortunately, things have shifted on the podcast as well as in her Facebook group. The only voice we ever hear from Jenna is pushing something you pay her for. She pushed a company with open litigation (Lularoe) and lost a lot of respect then for not doing proper research. Now it’s Tony Robbins. She made extremely disparaging comments about the Me Too movement specifically pertaining to allegations against Tony in her Facebook group. When former sexual harassment, assault, and domestic violence victims in her group spoke to the irresponsibility of calling allegations against Tony a “witch hunt” to 50k people, she shamed us in another series of uneducated diatribes, accused us of not doing the work we were expecting of her, and guilted US for taking away from her family time. She accused us of deeply hurting HER. You know, us former sexual assault victims who were trying to respectfully let her know how much her public doubt of victims hurt US (her paying customers) and perpetuates abuse in the workplace and otherwise. She allowed her followers to challenge these admitted victims, frame them as man hating feminists, and even liked their comments. Unfortunately, Jenna seems to be extremely misguided in the ways of the world outside her millionaire round table, and doesn’t seem to care about researching and listening to both sides of a story before making her opinions known to a group of people who largely and sometimes blindly follow whatever opinions and advice she gives. Jenna is no longer the girl next door. She’s a 30 year old model and millionaire. There are so many wonderful business podcasts with people that respect other humans and offer valuable education at fractions of the cost of what the GDP offers. If you have a mind of your own, don’t waste your brain cells on these hour long infomercials.
