just, really really good

I just found this and binged it in one sitting but I’m already in love! the characters, the universe, and the plot is all so good! in addition to sheer quality, the vibe is really nice. the dialogue is engaging but kind at the same time. there’s not been a moment where I wasn’t rooting for the success of literally every single one of the characters, they’re so likable. thanks to the cast and crew for bringing this to us!!!!!

Narratively compelling, but audio could use work

I just finished listening to the first five episodes, and while I will almost definitely be returning, it would be incredible if the team could do some work to normalize audio levels. Listening to this while driving poses a challenge, because the overall audio level is quieter than it should be. Volume also changes quite suddenly at times where it’s not narratively appropriate, and it’s clear that someone got a little too close or too far from their mic. I understand needing to balance for different dynamic ranges, I just felt like it was worth pointing out because the difference compared to many other podcasts was noticeable. But all in all, still excited to see where this goes!
