“I just finished listening to the first five episodes, and while I will almost definitely be returning, it would be incredible if the team could do some work to normalize audio levels. Listening to this while driving poses a challenge, because the overall audio level is quieter than it should be. Volume also changes quite suddenly at times where it’s not narratively appropriate, and it’s clear that someone got a little too close or too far from their mic. I understand needing to balance for different dynamic ranges, I just felt like it was worth pointing out because the difference compared to many other podcasts was noticeable. But all in all, still excited to see where this goes!”
