A Tip to the Hosts: Use Google to Check Your Facts
As a fan of Chicago, I was looking forward to listening to The Great Song Podcast and their discussion of "25 or 6 to 4." While parts of the show were enjoyable, I was surprised at the amount of misinformation the hosts were putting out, first saying Chicago has been around 60 years (the band was formed in 1967) and then complaining that during their 2018 concert tour "Chicago didn't play their hits" and played "songs no one knew." In 2018, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their second album, "Chicago," (or Chicago II), the group played that album in its entiretly to open their concerts, which actually contains "Make Me Smile," "Color My Worlkd," and "25 or 6 to 4." Finally, one of the hosts said the group "Beckley-Lamm-Wilson" was formed before Chicago, The Beach Boys, and America were formed, which would have meant before 1962. The trio actually worked together in the early 1990s and the album "Like a Brother" was released in 2000. After about 45 minutes, I stopped listening.Read full review »

There are many music podcasts but this is the first one I’ve heard to take the time to focus on not just the song but also pretty much everything about the song you never knew you needed to know.
