I’ve only listened to the Brasil music episodes for now. I think it’s very interesting, varied, brings new stuff and it’s presented with such a passion, that makes the hearing very pleasant..

What’s the point ? So close yet so far from being good. Is this to do with licensing ?

I love this. Since Brazil music nothing new is created. What happened?

I persevered with this podcast for several weeks hoping it would improve, it didn’t! If you want to hear two twenty something upper class women and a grumpy middle aged man sing the praises of insipid electronic dance music week after week, this is the show for you, everyone else look elsewhere.

It´s an eclectic mix of music, mostly based around new music from a London-media perspective. A lot of talk about the Grime scene or the influences of Dubstep (whatever they might be) and not enough actual music to listen to. A bit more sounds and less chat would help listeners to get a hold on...Read full review »

A broad range of popular music is covered each program, including music from past decades and other eclectic subjects. Keep up the great work.

Consistently the best music podcast on the web

I really enjoy Guardian Music Weekly - because it works hard to cover a broad range of music, and has made me aware of some cool music I wouldn't have otherwise heard of it. Alexis is a really good presenter too.Read full review »

Articulate and interesting, with generally very good content. (The Let England Shake special was superb and also the Kristin Hirsch interview last year- check both out.) Unfortunately most of the time there's always a sense that this tries a bit hard to be cool. There's too much talk full...Read full review »

I cannot believe there are any reviews for this great podcast. A wonderful weekly round up of what's going on in music with thoughtful interviews and professional presenters. If you want a generalist podcast which covers stuff you might otherwise not hear about beyond your favorite genres, then...Read full review »

It's just a bit much the way the bang on about some ok pop music. I guess that's just their job and I'm undereducated. On the up side I've found stuff I'd have never heard of otherwise.Read full review »

I like the people on the podcast and it was an ok listen. I didn't dis-like it at all. I just found the general chat a bit too, I'm struggling for adjectives, but maybe too pretentious? I don't want to sound harsh as it's a decent listen but, perhaps for my taste, maybe they could...Read full review »

Was very good, is good but chat beginning to take over from the music. At its worst its about proving how cool and current the contributors are. get back toi the high standards of last year guys.

Frequently acerbic, always eclectic, sometimes informative. The series grows in stature weekly and the format restructure works. Will Rosie ever learn to drive?

and enlightening and geeky and hilarious insights into the world of (un)pop-ular musics. Alexis and Rosie are genius and a breath of alternate-Pitchfork fresh air, even all the way over in California where I'm sat.

Nice talk-radio style podcasts from entertaining presenters. Review a good range of genres too.

I love the way that this pod brings the disparate edges of new music into a handy pill to pop. I don't like all the music they feature but that's half the point. Keep it going and remember mirror signal indicate...Read full review »

Best music related podcast on the net. I never miss one. It really does inform me on what to and what not to buy, without being NME style pushy. Amazing considering how poor Alexis' pieces in GQ are!Read full review »

Informal and informed, I look forward to the weekly chunks of wisdom and humour. The question is, will Rosie ever pass her driving test? Will ratings dive if she passes? Book the flying lessons, I say.
