This series was formative for my entire podcast listening life. Super good. So happy to hear it all again on Apple.

Seems interesting but there’s only one episode

why is there only 1 episode available?! it’s more convenient to listen on the apple podcast app than on a website.

Please add back the rest of the shows!

One episode aired in 2018. It was compelling bet left us wanting more. What happened to the rest of the episodes?

I love Gimlet podcasts!! I heard of this podcast from another Gimlet podcast and put it in my podcast library on Apple Podcasts to eventually get to. There is only 1 episode available on Apple Podcasts, but I know there are at least 7 episodes listed on Gimlet's website. Please add the...Read full review »

I binged and felt like I was IN THERE. By the time I got to the “Tortilla” ep *I* needed a break from everyone and had to turn it off for a bit 😂

I loved the podcast. It’s was very interesting to listen to the development of the relationships between the subjects. When you listen to it, you feel like your there for a moment. It’s nice to get out of your head and imagine you being in the same place.

Absolutely wonderful podcast to listen to, and the editing is so awesome! I’ve caught myself laughing out loud while listening to it. Definitely a great time!!

Cool project for anyone who is interested in possible Mars exploration in the future. But too much time of the podcast is about the relation between the group, and so little about the technology and organization part. But anyway it was interested to listen.

Add me to the list of people who dislike the over focus on interpersonal issues. Made me feel voyeuristic in the worst way. I feel bad for the participants.

.
It’s gets so boring. For a science journalist, she has almost zero science discussion. It’s just about the crews daily life. No talk of the work or if there are simulated challenges etc. You don’t even hear about them leaving the habitat in space suits to simulate an EVA until like episode 4. Had...Read full review »

Any chance you could update this episode, or write a new episode, that explores SpaceX’s recent achievement to launch people into space. They’re privately funded and have incredible aspirations with BFR. It would be great to hear your assessment.

best podcast I’ve ever listened too... the way you create characters and scenes is unparalleled and what a creative way to track a story overtime! You probably could’ve slipped in a little more science since you have the audience so hooked with the story but overall fantastic fantastic fantastic

Whenever I look at the log of shows I’ve listened to, I see this one and am shocked how I so easily forget this masterpiece. Such a great show and a must-listen.

Didn’t know what to expect when i started listening to this podcast but i was captivated from the beginning. Listened to the whole episodes in a row, would have wished there were more episodes. The podcast explores relationships in such a tiny space, rather than being technical about the space...Read full review »

I got to this podcast after listening to 13 mn to the moon by Kevin Fong. It is such a brilliant idea for a podcast, lots of thought provoking situations and evocative sounds. Fab.

Loved this show. Had no idea experiments like these were happening. Fascinating to listen to how it all plays out!
TCSJT via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/07/20
The storytelling was engaging, but I felt that it lacked the umph I had hoped for. It was interesting to hear what the experiment entailed, but I wanted to come away with more. The social interaction communicated was interesting, but expected. The real story is what we didn’t hear. What they...Read full review »

I was disappointed that when I finished this podcast it felt like I had barely learned anything about life on Mars. The host gives some scientific facts here and there but mostly just focuses on the personal lives of the participants. It is almost obsessive the way their real work is dismissed in...Read full review »

This podcast was amazing. I couldn’t get enough of it.🙂
erixfuscas via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/17/19
I found this entertaining and actually interesting with the space facts. Each episode was straight to the point and highlighting the volunteers routine. I did start to find uninteresting towards the end when the narrator was just focused on the gossip towards Shay and the relationships going on.
ghiakarla_ via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/10/19
Doskonale oddaje klimat miejsca, sensu eksperymentu i trudności z jakimi przyjdzie się zmagać przy próbie wysyłki zespołu na Marsa. Doskonale się słucha, sporo dowiaduje.
Melon4598 via Apple Podcasts · Poland · 12/07/19
Podcast host rambled on and on- I’d rather hear from the actual people in the experiment. Interesting angles are overlooked while faux reality TV drama is overblown. Also, absolutely no one, on earth, Mars, or anywhere is the galaxy has ever wanted to listen to her and another producer chewing...Read full review »
