Love listening but room for improvement

I love many of the guests Romy has on and appreciate that she’s tackling some difficult subjects that should be discussed more openly. I do wish she’d improve the volume issues and audio quality (the black swan music intro is far too loud, for example). I also wish she did more research on the interviewees beforehand; particularly with more experienced professional dancers, she seems to enter the interview with very little background information on their career (and I say this with love, but Romy’s reaction to learning any interviewee is over 30 is kind of cringe — that’s not old!). Generally speaking, the interviews tend to lack necessary structure, but there is so much potential here, and I do still find the interviews interesting and valuable.

Disappointing

The host stumbles with her questions, is not very articulate, doesn’t explore issues fully and talks about herself more than showing interest in her guest.
As a listener I am left with more questions and only a general sense of her guest’s experience. The frequent use of “Um” and “like” as well as half-formed sentences (from both guest and host) made it difficult to remain interested.
