Lost a little magic
I loved this podcast when it first came out - the highlight of my weeks commute - but since the last hiatus it’s lost that magic that made me love it in the beginning. It feels like the format has veered more towards being a literary based podcast with recommendations of books & articles taking up a good chunk of the recording and author specials every other episode. I love literature and I used to find that side of the podcast great when balanced with other things, but it can get monotonous as the main topic of the podcast. I also loved the discussion of current affairs at the beginning, which appears to have disappeared almost completely now. It feels like Pandora has disconnected from pop culture (which I understand with two young children) but it means she sometimes appears disengaged with Dolly which is shame as they had such a great dynamic previously. I don’t normally leave reviews but I really did love the podcast previously, and it would be great to see a little more of the old format & content seep back in!

The high low is the perfect dose of making me think and laugh. Fantastic form from these creative, energetic and unstoppable women (although please stop eating and talking at the same time Pandora!) The next episode can't come too soonRead full review »
