There voices are very scripted but I do like learning about my culture in a fun storytelling way

Love the concept and the information, but like others have said it feels a little scripted and rote. Less like a conversation and more like I’m being read to. I would definitely encourage the hosts to read through some of the stickier points like the numbers ahead of time and have a conversation...Read full review »

I think this podcast has a bunch of potential. I didn’t like how it seems so scripted. Like, all of the emotions that are in this from the hosts just don’t seem genuine. I was expecting to hear stories from indigenous peoples and learn about their cultures, history, etc. I like the research...Read full review »

As I sat here listening to the information you shared I thought wow, how intelligently done. Finding your way to learning about cultures of indigenous people and your own. Brilliant young folks.

This is more comment than review. I enjoy your earnest energy and both of your voices are lovely to listen to. I’ve been to the Salten Sea and currently live in Whatcom County which borders the Salish Sea. It’s a few years ago when there was a contest to name Bellingham Bay Area and Salish Sea...Read full review »

Was very hopeful about this podcast as I like learning about Native Americans. However, this monotone regurgitation of a script bleeds anything of note from it and this really needs more work for it to work.

So exciting to see local people getting resources to create something so new and exciting. I love the format of the podcast— history and storytelling intertwined is the perfect way to explore these stories. And who doesn’t love a cold dose of horror! I’m particularly excited to bring these into a...Read full review »

Listening info to these types of stories from my own family members at moose camp, around the fire or kitchen table is my favourite thing ever. I am SO excited for this podcast. Yay! Josef and Mackenzie! Thank you!

Hi, Great idea for a podcast. I would recommend that you contact the Indigenous groups who are references, or look on the First People’s Cultural Council language map, to ensure accurate pronunciations of names and terms. Dane-zaa/Dane-za/Dunne-zaa is pronounced quite differently from how you...Read full review »
